Daryl Kane is an author, activist and pundit best known for his popular podcast, "Right Wing Road Trip" and his book Cultural Cancer: Treating the Disease of Political Correctness. Originally published in 2014, Cultural Cancer correctly foretold the rise of "populist nationalism" in the U.S., which Donald Trump successfully rode to the White House. The central thesis of his work is that social and cultural issues constitute the front lines of the battle with the secular progressives--not the safer domestic and foreign policy concerns that are usually chosen by Republican pundits and politicians vying for media attention. On his podcast, through his writing, and at media events and rallies, Kane consistently pushes back against the status quo and challenges the conservative movement to elevate its game and stand up for our cultural and ideological identity.
