Freedom for North Korea (FFNK) advocates for liberty and human rights for the North Korean people.
FFNK is uniquely led by two North Korean defectors, Yeonmi Park and Seong-Ho Ji. As individuals who personally experienced the atrocities of the Kim regime and survived the harrowing journey to freedom, they are “insiders and outsiders” determined to end the oppressive dictatorship and human rights violations endured by their people. FFNK conducts global information campaigns, rescues North Korean refugees at risk of repatriation, and funnels information and media inside North Korea. The organization's South Korean arm has operated since 2010.
